The Approach
We promote and adhere to a
child-centered individualized approach, so that learning and life exploration takes place at each child’s individual level, with sensitivity and awareness about the child’s needs, strengths and weaknesses. Each child’s progress is monitored closely across all
developmental milestones to ensure their needs and curiosities are being met as they are identified.
Research shows that your child’s early experiences are crucial to his/her development. At Inspire, we understand the role of the environment in the learning experience, and thus ensure that ours is stimulating, nurturing, and fun. Our belief is that all children are competent learners, and that each child is unique. Working in line with these beliefs, we base our customized program on two international approaches:
The Creative Curriculum of the United States and
Reggio Emilia of Italy.
The Creative Curriculum is the core program at Inspire. Integrated with high-quality assessment, professional development, and family connection resources, we have created a well-rounded program that addresses the needs of early childhood education professionals, children, and their families.
The Creative Curriculum
1- At the heart of the Teaching Strategies approach to early childhood education is The Creative Curriculum®, a leading scientifically based, comprehensive curriculum for programs serving children from birth to age 5. It combines the latest research and the freshest ideas into a forward-thinking approach to learning--one that honors creativity and respects the role that teachers play in making learning exciting and relevant for every child in their classrooms.
2- The unique approach is designed to inspire teachers, to help them create a high-quality learning environment and, most of all, to support their important efforts as they open doors to successful learning and promote positive outcomes for all children, including English-language learners, children with special needs, and children who are gifted.
The Reggio Emilia Approach
1- The Reggio Emilia approach is inclusive in nature and focuses on the individual needs of children. It views all children as competent learners and allows the interests of the children to guide the day’s activities. The approach focuses heavily on art as a method for learning, and stimulates creativity within the learning environment.
Age Groups
Inspire accepts children between the ages of 3 months and 4 years. We divide children according to age into the following groups:
Infants (3 months – walking age)
1- Infants follow the same routine that parents have set for them at home. Infants are given many opportunities to progress developmentally. Among the activities that ensure these opportunities are: Music and movement, Outdoor play, Floor time (allowing them to explore their surroundings and to develop their motor skills), Story time, Sensory activities (playing with toys that stimulate the use of the senses)
Early Toddler (walking age – 2 years)
2- At this age, children are given the chance to feed their curiosity and learn about their environment. Teachers provide children with various activities that add to every child’s learning experience.
Much focus is given to the development of language and motor skills.

Age Groups
Late Toddler (2-3 years)
3- Children at this age continue to take part in exciting activities. They are encouraged to socialize through play and to take initiative in carrying out tasks. Teachers focus on fostering independence, inquisitiveness and a love for learning.
Preschool (3-4 years)
4- Preschool children are highly curious and imaginative, and they enjoy observing other people. Teachers nurture the children’s curiosity and encourage them to use their imagination through different activities. Various approaches, including story time, group discussions, and art work are used to teach children different concepts and to encourage peer interaction.
International Standards Of Quality
Developing a program of the highest quality possible, Inspire has looked to the standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). This association accredits early child care centers in the United States based on ten different standards. At Inspire, our administration ensures that, among other things, the curriculum, teachers, activities, safety, and parental involvement meet NAEYC’s guidelines.
Equality & Diversity Statement
It is the policy of Inspire Children’s Nursery to recognize and encourage the valuable and enriching contribution made by all who work and learn here. We therefore value the rights of all individuals who come into contact with Inspire such as prospective students and job applicants.
We believe that people from a range of backgrounds and experiences can enhance the life and development of Inspire as an early learning centre and that all individuals should be treated on the basis of individual merit and without prejudice. Inspire, therefore, aims to provide an early education and child-minding services which actively promote equality of opportunity and freedom
from discrimination on grounds of cultural background, class, disability, ethnicity,
gender, or religion in both education and employment.
